Saturday May 24, in the beautiful Congress Hotel Holiday Inn parco dei Medici in Rome, was born the FIK (Italian Federation karate). About 150 people, for the more technical, are realized from all over Italy to enshrine the Baptism of the new realities of noble ideals and from the ambitious objectives. Many certificates of esteem and encouragement received in recent months by hundreds of technicians and society that, with renewed enthusiasm and confidence, placing in homologated high expectations for change to the world of Karate.

The end of the meeting and the formal constitution of FIK, took place among other things the election of the first Federal Council.
These the elected unanimously: Daniele Lazzarini (President), Giovanni Papa, Vitaliano Morandi, Giuseppe Rossetti, Umberto Soldatelli (the advisers)
Unite rather than divide, equal dignity of all the "souls" of Karate, skills development and of the merits, maximum involvement of society and of the Members, democracy and transparency in every aspect of federal life, are only some of the values have emerged from the Assembly and which will underpin the new FIK.
As stated in his intervention Doctor Daniele Lazzarini, President of neo FIK: … "we do not want to compete with anyone, we turn simply to all who share our ideas" … "we want with the FIK two aims: first, to answer to those that are the needs and expectations of society and of practising widening the scope of action; the second, become unifying subject of italian Karate, where all can feel in 'common house" treatment with equal dignity and protection, while respecting the diversity "…"is a project not ambitious, more! However, believe that all together we can succeed if we put emphasis on some elements: team spirit and the feel part of a great movement by high ideals, without second purposes"…"we want to be, as said Kennedy, a caravan of men and women travelling towards new frontiers.

Concepts confirmed by the interventions of the Masters Roberto De Luca, Vitaliano Morandi and Gilberto Berlen that, with concrete proposals, have pointed out the FIK will arise to the associates, not only with the activity agonistic summit, but also through promotional activities for the youngest and amateurs, special projects geared to social, and more.

The FIK wants to be assessed in the time, through the facts! The challenge is launched…in loud applause, with great enthusiasm and hope for the future, has closed the memorable assembly (which will remain memorable in the history of Karate as is the date of 24 may for the Italian history).
A given significant that emerges from reading of the Act of foundation: already more than 100 companies affiliated with a presence in 14 regions! And it is only the beginning...
